Great Staff and Wonderful Location!

Anna helped us immensely by arranging our snorkeling and diving while here, and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. We enjoyed the bikes too. Thank you.

The grounds were very nice at Caribe Island Resort in Belize and the spectacular beach was a sight to behold. The room I stayed in was clean and well appointed and had a full kitchen that I used daily. There are many restaurants in neighboring San Pedro. The near-by dive shops come and pick you up from the pier in front of the resort. I stayed in an ocean front room and it was delightful to have the Caribbean sea breeze blow through the condo pretty much day and night. Serene place! Good bar. The staff was pleasant and serviced my room daily and did a nice job.

The Caribe Island Resort is a little jewel on San Pedro. We have traveled to other islands (including a previous stay on San Pedro) stayed at five star resorts, but never experienced what is often advertised as a "private beach."

What a wonderful way to start the day, opening the french doors on to the beach, fresh cup of coffee in hand, sun coming up over the ocean, and watching the kiddos run on the secluded beach. I never had to worry about tourists invading our paridise.

I would highly recommend Caribe Island to family and friends, as it gave me a chance to unplug and connect with my family. Thanks to the attentive staff---I will remember 2006 Spring Break for years to come!

This was our first trip to Belize, though weve been to many other islands. We liked it so much weve recently bought a unit. Caribe Island is perfect for people who want to have the options to relax on a private beach, swim in a fresh water pool, enjoy the awesome snorkeling/diving Belize has to offer, or go on one of the many other excertions available (cave tubing, zip lining or horse back riding through the jungle, exploring ruins, etc...). The staff were all very friendly and accomodating. We had no trouble booking activities. All boat trips had pick up right off Caribes own dock, so no need to travel anywhere else first. The rooms were very clean. Joel the bartender has a great personality, and makes a mean tropical drink. HUGE Lakers fan if you want to score points. We traveled the island either by taxi with George, or golf cart. The roads are dirt & bumpy , wed expect no less on an island... We were only a couple miles from town, so going in for dinner, or shopping (which by the way the condo supplies free taxi 5:30pm-9:30pm) was no hassle. The food was wonderful, not one meal would we complain about. Some of our favorite places, Blue Water Grill, Elvis Kitchen, Victoria House for breakfast, a little pricey though. It really was all good though. While there, we learned the resort had been going through some changes, and they have great plans for the future. All in all its a great place and can only get better! We cant wait to go back.

It could not have been better! We have stayed at other resorts on the island in the past, but Caribe is the best. The staff booked all of tours, made dinner reservations, and basically pampered us! Would I come back? IN A HEART BEAT

This was our first time to Belize. The natural beauty of Ambergris Caye is breathtaking. We enjoyed snorkeling, diving, visiting San Pedro and just hanging out at Caribe Island. The condos are far enough from town to relax and close enough to visit often. It is a wonderful place with nice rooms, a nice beach & pool and very friendly staff. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Best vacation we ever had. Everyone here at the Caribe and in the streets/shops were most friendly! It doesnt take long before you feel like a member of the community. We loved our say here at Caribe and would do it all over again.

Great vacation! Staying at Caribe Island Condos was like taking a cruise ship vacation without all of the people. The front office made all the arrangemnents for us - air transportation from Belize City, golfcart, dives and jungle tours. We felt well taken care of. The room was great too!

Resort is extremely well run. Anna and Tracy are efficient, patient, knowledgeable and sweet. It is nice to be able to trust the frontdesk this way! Grounds are well amintained. Rooms are clena and in good shape.

Our condos were wonderful. The staff was very professional, dependable and kind. Our group was not easy but they never waivered in their thoughtfulness.

We loved the condo, the resort beach, dock and the overall "feel" of the place. The condo is magnificent and we especially loved the veranda and views of the water. The staff is ecellent, helpful, courteous and truely made our stay much more pleasurable. (Thanks Ana!)

We love it here. We came here in 2000 and again in 2002. The staff is very helpful and kind- especially Anna, Jude and Joel. We miss the full menu that you had a few years ago.. we would rather stay here and eat rather than go to town. Please bring that back. (:>) All else was great!!

Caribe Island was the perfect place to stay for us. The staff is friendly and helpful, the beach in front of the resort is beautiful and quiet and it was so nice to be away from busy San Pedro downtown area, Although the resort makes downtown easy to get to with free shuttle and bikes.

I have stayed here on two occasions and is by far the most accomodating resort on the island. The rooms are clean, the restaurant has a great selection of entrees and the staff is very friendly. The rates are unbeatable!! I am planning another vacation to Ambergris and will stay here!!

We had a wonderful time! The office staff were extremely helpful. The cleaning service was first rate. The building were lovely pink confection in a beautiful setting, nicely remote but not too far from town. The pool was warm and clean. Our rooms were quiet, artful, and comfortable. Great view! 3rd floor ocean front unit- impecable service- staff is fabulous. Location just right- not too close- not too far from San Pedro. Tour services are convenient (dock on site). Facility - kitchen, large refrige, Large Verandah- living area all top notch - Cant wait to return- although for much longer period- thank you.

Both the settings and our accomodations were beautiful. We also enjoyed great service from the staff at Caribe Island. Anna and Elsita booked dinner reservations at the best restaurants as well as fun activities to keep us occupied. The slight isssues that came up were quickly resolved. Our apartment was kept very clean! P.S Ricky was very helpful and pleasant as well!

What a wonderful place! The room was clean, the staff (Ricky and Paula especiallly) and the guests were friendly. The entire experience was amazing. I loved staying at Caribe Island. We used the bikes, the kayaks and swam off the dock. There are a lot of choices of places to stay, but Caribe Island is the place to be!!!! Thank you!!!
